This study explores the anesthesia breathing circuit as an essential component for maintaining a safe and controlled closed-loop breathing environment during surgical procedures. It examines how the circuit supports effective ventilation, regulates gas flow, and maintains stable respiratory conditions needed for patient safety under anesthesia. The work highlights the importance of proper circuit function, appropriate configuration, and continuous monitoring in preventing complications such as inadequate oxygen delivery or carbon dioxide buildup. By evaluating the roles and performance of the anesthesia breathing circuit, the study aims to deepen understanding of its contribution to patient stability and overall anesthesia safety. It concluded that although new technology has greatly improved monitoring and early detection of circuit problems, careful checking by anesthesia providers remains essential. It also recommended that anesthesia personnel should receive regular training on circuit setup, troubleshooting, and emergency response to enhance their ability to manage circuit-related challenges.
