This article presents an analysis of veterinary insecticidal preparations based on fipronil that are widely used in the pharmaceutical market of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study examines dosage forms, distribution by manufacturing companies, and toxicological as well as environmental characteristics of these products. Content analysis was conducted using official registry data to assess the role of fipronil-based preparations in veterinary practice. The results indicate a high prevalence of fipronil in the market and highlight the growing need for modern, accurate, and reliable analytical methods to detect fipronil residues in cases of suspected animal poisoning. The findings provide a scientific basis for developing recommendations on the rational and safe use of insecticides in veterinary medicine and agriculture.
