Long-term care plays a vital role in fostering the well-being of aging populations, individuals with chronic illnesses, and those with disabilities, profoundly impacting not only the recipients but also their families and broader communities. As demographic shifts lead to increased longevity and a growing need for sustained health and social support, long-term care emerges as a cornerstone of compassionate, sustainable societies. It ensures dignity, autonomy, and quality of life for vulnerable individuals, while alleviating emotional and financial burdens on families. Moreover, well-integrated long-term care systems strengthen community cohesion and resilience by promoting equity, accessibility, and intergenerational solidarity. The study concluded that a collaborative approach that integrates public, private, and community stakeholders will be key to building a long-term care system that truly meets the needs of aging and vulnerable populations in a rapidly changing world. One of the recommendations was that there is need to invest in Long-term care (LTC) infrastructure and workforce development as it is essential to ensure high-quality care.
