Modern Diagnostics and Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis in Children

This article examines modern diagnostic methods and treatment strategies for rheumatoid arthritis in children, known as Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). JIA is an early-onset autoimmune disease characterized by chronic inflammation of the joints, which, if untreated, can lead to persistent deformities, pain, and disability. The study analyzes clinical manifestations, laboratory markers, and the role of ultrasound and MRI in early detection. Additionally, the efficacy of methotrexate, corticosteroids, and targeted biological therapies is explored. The results indicate that early diagnosis combined with modern therapeutic approaches significantly improves joint function, clinical outcomes, and the overall quality of life in affected children.
