Changes in the Properties of Enterococci in Intestinal Infections in Children

As part of the normal aerobic microflora, in addition to E. coli, enterococci are found in significant quantities. This microbe may also play a role in diarrhea in children. This work covers material studying changes in the properties of enterococci during diarrhea; we isolated and studied 409 strains over two years from the same children from whom E. coli were isolated.
