Abstract

The article provides data on the species diversity of nematode fauna of the family Cephalobidae Filipjev, 1934 fruit trees of the Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan. The research was conducted in 2020-2023. in the orchards of the Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan. The objects of the study were the root soil and root system of some fruit trees (apple trees (Malus domestica L.), (common apricot (Prunus armeniaca L.), common peach (Persica vulgaris Mill.), walnut (Juglans regia L.)) and nematodes common in these plants. As a result of studies carried out to determine the species composition of the family Cephalobidae in the conditions of the Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan, 19 species of nematodes were registered on fruit trees, they belong to 2 subfamilies, 7 geniuses. The most diverse in species composition is the genus Chiloplacus (5 species), which constitutes 26.3% of all detected types of nematodes in fruit trees.
