Despite the implementation of national programs and health reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at improving preschool nutrition, various challenges remain, including imbalanced diets, micronutrient deficiencies, and inadequate hygienic practices. This article explores current approaches to optimizing the nutrition of preschool-aged children by focusing on dietary composition, food safety, eating habits, and sanitary standards. The paper also emphasizes the role of preschool institutions in shaping long-term healthy eating behaviors and preventing diet-related health problems. By analyzing both international guidelines and local practices, the article aims to provide evidence-based recommendations for enhancing the quality of preschool nutrition in institutional settings.
